Each morning when I get up, the first thing I do is...
Drink about 1 liter of water with 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar.

And other weight loss benefits, I'll share what I think is a very important reason for drinking apple cider vinegar + water first thing in the morning (or at any time of the day for that matter).
Instant alkalinity.
If you recall, alkalinity is the foundation of ultimate health. If your body is acidic (the opposite of alkaline) it becomes a feeding ground for disease to spread.
This CAN'T happen when your body (mainly your blood) is alkaline.
And other than eating a predominantly alkaline diet (ie. fruits and veggies), adding apple cider vinegar can be a big help.
Here's why...
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) contains malic acid and acetic acid.
When these acids reach your small intestine, an area that needs an alkaline medium for its digestive enzymes to work, bicarbonates are released from the pancreas to neutralize the stomach acid or chyme (food coming from stomach).
These same bicarbonates are also used to neutralize the malic acid and acetic acid found in ACV.
Without getting too chemistry-crazy on you here, the bicarbonates act on these acids and convert them in alkaline salts - actetate and malate which are highly absorbable in the intestines.
Now, these alkaline salts can circulate into the blood and assist in balancing it's pH.
And that's just ONE of the many amazing health benefits of apple cider vinegar.
